Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Senior Support Specialist to handle the day-to-day operational duties associated with hardware, software and operations of multiple systems. This includes support to end-users, troubleshooting, configuration, and account maintenance. This position will be a hybrid support role, with the expectation that the candidate will be in the office at least 3-4 days per week. The ideal candidate will be in either Andover, Canton, or Portland.
What You will be doing at Woodard & Curran:
This position’s anticipated pay range is provided above; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity:
Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings.

What You will be doing at Woodard & Curran:
- Setup and configure computer systems, telephony system access, and user accounts.
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems by installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software.
- Provide technical assistance and support for issues related to computer, telephony system, software, and hardware.
- Respond to email messages, internal tickets and phone calls from customers seeking assistance and accurately document all Support requests.
- Walk users through the problem-solving process.
- Follow-up with users to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Train computer users.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Continually identify efficiencies for systems, processes, and procedures.
- Meet regularly with end-user groups to determine support needs and identify areas of technological need.
- Provide technical assistance and support for more complex issues related to computer, telephony system, software, and hardware.
- Analyze support trends and recommend actions based on findings. Mentors and trains junior level staff
- Build training programs and lead user training initiatives
- Continually identify efficiencies for systems, processes, and procedures. Implement findings into core IS systems.
- Provide technical consultation, training, and support to IS team members as designed by manager or director.
- Provide Mentorship to junior level staff

- High school diploma or general equivalence degree (GED).
- 5 years of experience in supporting users in computing environments.
- Possess a deep understanding of a Microsoft desktop application environment.
- Possess solid technical skills in computer hardware, software and computer operations techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the following sets of systems: Microsoft Windows Desktop OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Wired or Wireless LAN technologies, DNS, DHCP Support, Microsoft Active Directory, AutoDesk Design Suite, Support Desk Management Suites.
- Valid Driver's License
- Pay range will be dependent on geographic location and experience level
