Who We’re Looking for
We’re looking for a Shift Supervisor for our 2nd shift to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture parts or products.. The ideal candidate will be a reliable and detail-oriented problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to lead others to achieve production goals and standards. The Shift Supervisor will directly lead a 2nd shift production team, along with team leads, and will report to the Production Manager.

Establishes daily٫ weekly and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
Manages the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Guides and coaches employees٫ monitoring their productivity.
Oversees safe use of equipment and schedules regular maintenance.
Performs verification of production output according to specifications.
Prepares reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
Detects issues in efficiency and suggests improvements.
Consults new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
Ensures strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and develop staff
Assign duties and monitor quality of work; ensure staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and safety regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education Requirements
Associate's Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or one to two years related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Word Processing software (Word / Google Docs)
Electronic Mail Software (Google)
Presentation software (PowerPoint / Google Slides)
Desired Skills
Two years experience working in a Production Supervisor or other similar role
Extensive knowledge of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
Good functional knowledge and adaptability to various computer systems / tools
Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
Strong organizational and leadership skills, together with a results-driven approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
