What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/RN Charge Nurse position at woodbriar nursing home?
Overview
We are looking for 1 LPN or RN charge nurse, this position could be either a full time or a part time position. We do not have nurse positions come open very often, but we have an LPN starting RN school and she is needing to cut back on her usual working hours.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusions and pain management protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective patient care.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the facility.
- Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance team performance.
- Address patient concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license (LPN/ RN) in good standing in Arkansas.
- Able to have good attendance
- Ability to get along with others
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
We have a multi part to our pay: Base pay, plus $2 per hour attendance bonus, and $1.00 shift diff for hours worked from 6PM to 6AM. We are fully staffed with C.N.A's on all shifts.
