Brief Description of Position:
We are seeking a Labor or Compensation Analyst/Specialist to manage payroll data, calculate labor costs, and provide insights into labor utilization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in payroll systems, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate bi-weekly minimum wage rates for California installers using ADP WFM time sheets and piece rate pay sheets.
- Export, review, correct, and upload payroll data for six company codes into Acumatica and SAGE systems.
- Prepare payroll trend reports for the Accounting Manager.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Operations teams to resolve time sheet and piece rate discrepancies.
- Report bi-weekly labor utilization metrics to leadership.
- Maintain ADP GL mapping specifications and work with ADP consultants for data corrections.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Experience with payroll systems (ADP WFM, Acumatica, SAGE preferred).
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Understanding of labor cost accounting and payroll processing.
- Communication: Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve issues independently.
