Machine Operator 2nd shift (2:15 pm to 10:45 pm) at a leading foam manufacture in North America
Job Duties & Responsibilities
§ Uses tracker documentation and CMS labeling to properly label and package all finished goods created on the cutline, reticulation, or maxi
§ Identifies and Creates barcodes with the proper board footage for use in processes on the cutline, reticulation, or maxi
§ Inspect the buns on the line for quality, length, width, and height.
§ Notifies Supervisors and Shift Leads of work completion, downtimes, and quality issues.
§ Practice and maintain 5s philosophy by maintaining area/equipment clean, well-ordered, and organized.
§ Promotes teamwork & cooperation through the use of Lean tools, WPS, TWI, Book Club, 5S, TPM, etc., as well as support and promote the participation of Natural Work Teams.
§ Perform additional duties as assigned by shift supervisor.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
· 3 to 6 months related manufacturing experience or training
· Or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Ability to understand work instructions, job descriptions, SOT’s, 5’s scores, Kaizen, Safety Rules and escalation paths.
Salary information: per hour (Salary is dependent on experience) $19.50- $22.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
