Woodbridge Medical Associates, PA is a private primary care practice that has been serving the Woodbridge community since 1954. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team of physicians. The qualified candidate must have a master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, hold a valid New Jersey APN license, and have prior Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in primary care. We are offering a great Monday to Friday schedule with rotating evening and weekend on-call phone coverage, a competitive salary, and a benefits package that includes paid time off, malpractice insurance, health insurance, 401 (k) plan with an employer match, and a continuing education stipend.
Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Prescribe medication as needed.
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.
Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Valid New Jersey APN license.
- Prior Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in primary care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
