EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Assists management with establishing goals and objectives for internal and external information management systems. • Convenes Source for Siouxland meetings including development of agendas and meeting minutes. • Collaborates with the Health Promotions and Chronic Disease Division on implementation of the strategic, quality improvement and health improvement planning in support of a performance management system. • Identifies opportunities for continuous quality improvement and facilitates process improvement, to promote a culture of excellence. • Leads the design, development and maintenance of tracking, geographic, electronic health record. • Contributes to the review, revision and development of public health policies and procedures as they relate to public health informatics, including privacy and security issues. • Assists management with enforcement of policies and procedures regarding public health informatics, including privacy and/or security issues. • Prepares formal reports of activities to management, Board of Health, Source for Siouxland and oversight agencies. • Assists with professional and community group presentations to promote public health activities and engage stakeholders • Other duties may be assigned, as indicated, including assistance with public health preparedness activities as directed by management team. • No functional or Administrative supervision is exercised.
