Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk.
- Manage incoming phone calls, utilizing effective phone etiquette to provide information and direct calls appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation and review care plans as needed.
- Utilize eClinicalWorks software for patient management and documentation purposes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
- Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Provide medical administrative support by assisting with ICD-10 coding and other relevant documentation tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of documentation review processes and care plan management.
- Excellent phone skills with a focus on professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively in an office setting.
- Proficient in using standard office equipment and software applications.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
