What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Administrator position at Woodcraft by MacDonald?
Overview :
- We are a 2nd generation family owned business that does service, restoration, remodeling and other specialty work to motor homes and travel trailers.
- Manage appointment calendar to ensure that we keep an even, manageable work load.
- Gather key information needed to write estimates utilizing emails, phone conversations and personal face to face appointments.
- Work with the shop foreman and parts manager to maximize work flow.
- Create and send out monthly billing statements to customers for work completed to date.
- Contact customers with updates on their service and arranging pick up dates and times once job is completed.
- Keep general manager informed of status changes to work orders, customer lists, pick up schedules and any other issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with parts manager to ensure that parts are billed out before closing out job tickets.
- Create service orders assigning labor to technicians upon creation of the work order.
- Verify that technicians are accurately noting the service orders, explaining problems found and solutions used to correct those problems.
- Verify technicians clocking on and off tasks daily in computer system.
