Job Title: Sales Associate - Woodcraft of Las Vegas
About Us: Woodcraft of Las Vegas is a thriving small, family-owned woodworking and power tool supply store. We're seeking dynamic sales associates to provide excellent customer service. Woodworking knowledge is a plus, and a desire to learn about woodworking and share that knowledge with the team is essential for success in this position.
Job Description: A sales associate is the primary representative of the company to the public and is expected to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, product knowledge, and a positive and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Sales Transactions
Inventory and Stocking:
- Opening, sorting, checking product into inventory and then stocking shelves or storing in overstock rooms
- Completing inventory audits
Housekeeping:
- Assisting in keeping the store neat and tidy
Merchandising:
- Sales associates assist with merchandising the store, including monthly sales displays, and merchandising new product

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move about the store, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders and step stools, carrying, stretching, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Woodworking knowledge is a plus but not required, an interest / aptitude to learn is necessary.
