We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. Job Description: As the Store Manager of Woodcraft of Las Vegas, you will be pivotal in setting the store's overall tone and driving the success of our team. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, staff schedules, and overall store operations. With the help of your assistant manager and sales team, you will ensure stocking is completed, sales items are rotated and the retail floor is clean.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Handle purchase orders, receiving, and check-in processes.
- Monitor inventory levels, schedule audits, and track backorders.
Customer Relationships:
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, including commercial accounts.
Team Management:
- Schedule staff, manage coverage, and approve payroll hours.
- Lead recruiting, hiring, and training of new team members.
- Train employees on systems and product knowledge, and conduct evaluations.
Store Operations:
- Ensure adequate stock levels for lumber and specialty products.
- Organize the stock room and manage store supplies.
- Engage with the assistant manager to ensure the retail sales floor is stocked and organized.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move about the store, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders and step stools, carrying, stretching, twisting, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Woodworking knowledge is a plus but not required, an interest / aptitude to learn is necessary.
