Woodcraft Specialties & Renew A Kitchen experience in the Wausau region spans over 40 years of providing exceptional custom & refacing cabinetry. We are looking for a full-time Cabinet Maker- Machine Operator position for our growing team. This new team member must be trustworthy, positive and detailed orientated. Candidate must exude these core values, most work is completed individually with on the job training which will be provided.
This position requires operating multiple machines such as the moulder, wide belt sander, door machine, straight line rip saw, shaper, clap rack, up-cut saw and planer. The primary responsibilities for the cabinet maker position will be to build face frames for cabinets, manufacture cabinet doors, drawer fronts and mouldings. Occasionally we build interior solid wood doors. Must be able to read plans, ask questions and learn this multi-faceted position! Expect to be challenged in this position, this is a very rewarding job as you take raw materials and manufacture every component of our beautiful Woodcraft cabinets. Experience running similar machines will be highly sought after, but not necessary. We can train the right candidate on each machine until you are comfortable with every step of our manufacturing process- your safety is our top priority here at Woodcraft!
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications for Cabinet Installer:
- 1 year minimum of manufacturing, production, labor, construction or similar experience is needed.
- Experience in wood working is required.
- Necessary skills of handling tools such as; drills, hand saws, table saws, nail guns and glue & clamps to assemble various items.
- Reading & understanding cabinet drawings and plans as you assemble cabinets.
- Must have good measuring skills and be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- In fair-to-excellent physical condition.
- Able to work under deadlines and have good communication skills.
- This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a group.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn, dependable, trustworthy and willing to ask questions.
- Having the ability to have good quality control & utilizing safety measures at all times- following good risk management while on the job.
- Drivers license with clean record.
Hours for Lead Cabinet Installer: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 07:00-3:30.
