What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Wooden Heart?
Wooden Heart in Dundee, OR is looking for dishwashers to join our team! We are located at 1410 OR 99 W, in the heart of Oregon Wine Country and attached to the boutique Dundee Hotel. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.
*Wage based on experience* (otherwise base pay is minimum wage tips)
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using commercial dishwasher or scrub by hand if need be
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a dishwasher, but not a contingency for applying or hiring
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to stand for prolonged hours
- Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs.
- Sense of urgency and hustle
- Attention to detail and making sure only 100% clean dishes make it back to the kitchen and service floor
