Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a Fitness Manager: responsible for assisting our Director with daily operational support and the management of our staff within our busy and wellness center which includes a comprehensive fitness area, full spa & salon operations, aquatics department and Café.
Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is adding to its team with a Fitness Manager :responsible for assisting our Director with operational support of our busy and comprehensive wellness center. Our Fitness Manager: will be responsible for overseeing and managing our vibrant fitness programming and staff. Our ideal candidate will be conducting at least 10 classes per week. While prior experience in hospitality, luxury resort, country club environment is preferred, our ideal candidate must have professional fitness teaching certifications in multiple disciplines inclusive of Pilates, water aerobics, TRX, spinning, and yoga. Must have bachelors degree in health sciences, or related, and nationally recognized certification from professional fitness organization(s). Will professionally represent the Club as Manager-on-Duty, as scheduled. Prior experience in the hotel or private club industry preferred.
REQUIREMENTS: :
- Must have bachelors degree in health sciences, or related
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching group exercise classes
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Excellent presentation and references
- Strong computer skills are essential including Microsoft Office, Excel
- Must be able to work a variable schedule
- Experience managing group exercise instructors , preferred
- Must be certified in group fitness to teach multiple formats, AFAA and ACE, preferred.
- Must have knowledge of Pilates equipment maintenance
- Must have excellent communication skills, excellent time management and organization skills
- Must be flexible, able to work nights, weekends and holidays
