Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles and trailers. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our shop operations. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Salary will be based on previous experience.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on fleet vehicles, including brake repair, oil changes, and other mechanical components.
- Oversee the cleanliness and safety of all related work areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts inventory.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries related to fleet operations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices for maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management to develop maintenance schedules that minimize downtime.

Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in fleet maintenance or a similar field.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in tractor trailer truck maintenance is preferred.
- Tractor Trailer Diesel engine repair
- Air brake
- Mechanic experience
- Class A Driver's License
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Diesel Mechanic Certification is a PLUS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
