What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Service Manager position at Woodfield Nissan?
Eglin Volkswagen at I-90 and Randall Rd is seeking a Service Manager with experience to manage the operations of the Service and Parts departments. This is a New Building in a great location with lots of potential.
Must have a proven track record as a Service Manager in a high-volume new car automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have import experience and focused on maintaining a high CSI.
Job Summary / Responsibilities:
Directs and coordinates the activities of the Service Team to include but not limited to Technicians, Service Writers, and Porters. Ensure complete compliance of company policies and procedures while evaluating employees’ performance, including motivating and coaching Techs, Writers and Porters.
You will be responsible to answers technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs. Assists with warranty claims & aftermarket service contracts. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Maintains good working relationship with all employees while maintaining effective / positive employee relations. Manage technician productivity and training.
Job Requirements:
- Experienced and aware of the latest customer service practices and be a problem solver.
- At least 3 years of experience in a service management role at a New Car Dealership with VW experience preferred.
- Professional attitude dealing with internal / external customers.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to work days and weekends as needed.
- CDK experience is a PLUS, but not necessary.
- Valid driver's license.
