Woodfords Family Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our Residential Services Program as Assistant Residential Coordinator. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position, based in Westbrook, ME!
Position Summary
The Assistant Residential Coordinator supports the team by providing oversight of day-to-day activities within their assigned residential home in the absence of the Residential Coordinator. This includes supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in maintaining quality service delivery, interacting and providing direct care to home residents, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation regarding PCPs, MARS, Incident Reports, etc.
Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and flexibility are imperative to the role of Assistant Residential Coordinator. Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Behavioral Health Professional (BHP), or MHRT certification required.
Opportunity Details
- Full-time (38-40 hrs.)
- Wednesday 2p-10p, Thursday 12:30p-8p, Friday 1:30p-8p, Saturday 8a-8p
- $19.50-$20.50/hourly - commensurate with experience
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification.
- Certified Residential Medication Aide (CMRA) certification through the State of Maine.
- Current valid driver’s license, the use of a reliable vehicle and the ability to meet consumer transportation needs in their local community and surrounding areas from their assigned work location.
- Must have experience (paid or volunteer) working with children/adults; experience with the special needs population preferred.
