Woodfords Family Services has an exciting career opportunity for a compassionate leader to join our team as Program Coordinator! This position is full-time (40 hours), year-round, and located onsite at our Waterville, ME location!
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the provision of daily operations and oversight of the Preschool and Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) Programs. In assisting the Program Director, the Program Coordinator provides onsite support through effectively implementing the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Ensures the safety and wellbeing of the students.
- With the assistance of the Behavior Analyst, develop, plan and implement appropriate ABA curriculum and methods.
- Support with the development of each child's goals and objectives.
- Coordinate admission and intake of children to the preschool and SPPS programs.
- Provide supervision of Senior Lead Teacher, Lead Teachers and Teacher Assistants directly and indirectly. Monitor and maintain staff training compliance and efficacy.
- Attend regular meetings to include, agency wide, all staff meetings, IEP/ITP and family meetings.
- Serve as the liaison with CDS, school districts and other referral sources.
- Completes required quarterly and annually educational documentation for public schools.
- Acts on behalf of the Program Director in his/her absence
- Performs such duties and assumes such other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Program Director and/or required of the position.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
- $62,000 per year - additional compensation dependent on education and experience
- Retention Bonus! - Eligible at 1 year of employment
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in special education, early childhood, or a related field.
- A minimum of a conditional or full 282 Certification; full 282 certification preferred, from the Maine Department of Education.
- Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification.
- A minimum of two years experience and the desire to work with children with special needs.
- Must have a valid driver's license and use of a reliable vehicle.
