Woodfords Family Services has an exciting opening for a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to join our growing team! This is a casual / per-diem position (12-15 hours per week) and includes flexible weekday afternoon, evening, and weekend hours.
Position Summary
Woodfords' Rehabilitative & Community Supports (RCS) Program provides an array of evidence-based services to children and teens with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
As an RCS BHP, you will provide hands-on, one-to-one support to consumers and their families by implementing an individualized treatment plan that fosters and promotes skills related to behavior management / regulation, communication, independent living, self-care, and community integration.
Essential Responsibilities Include :
- Manage and effectively modify interfering behaviors across multiple settings and environments (home, school, stores, park, etc.) through the use of evidence based practices & interventions.
- Complete and accurately document progress summaries of goals and objectives, as well as other required paperwork assigned by Field Supervisor.
- Travel and transport consumers to community activities as appropriate.
- Casual / per-diem, 12-15 hours per week
- Flexible weekday afternoons & evenings, weekend hours
- 30-32 per billable hour! - commensurate with education & experience
- 375 Sign-on Bonus! - eligible at 6 months of employment
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in early intervention preferred.
- Must have a valid State of Maine driver's license and personal vehicle with current proof of auto insurance.
- Must complete training and obtain certification as Behavioral Health Professional within 1 year of hire.
