Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate basecoat application machinery to apply finishes to moulded wood products.
- Ensure proper setup and calibration of machinery for optimal performance.
- Monitor the application process to maintain quality standards and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in woodworking or related field preferred.
- Previous experience operating basecoat or finishing machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of various paint and stain types, application techniques, and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job.
