Job Title :  Doors Division - Human Resources Director

Location :  Nampa, ID  |  Leesburg, GA  | Towanda, PA

Starting Salary :  $101,500 - $135,000  (depending on experience)

Employment Type :  Full-Time, Salary

Work Environment :  In-Person, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Summary :

The HR Director is responsible for providing a broad range of consultative and hands-on support to the administration across the Division. This position plays a critical role in influencing the Division's strategy, driving change, and achieving business results.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Align the HR strategy and activities with the employee life cycle program : recruit, develop, and retain
  • Develop a strategic roadmap and vision for the Division HR department
  • Partner with Divisional leadership to anticipate and plan for future production and talent needs
  • Collaborate and participate in developing policies, evaluations, and development programs for employees
  • Maintain and improve the day-to-day functions and operations to increase effectiveness and efficiency with personnel management
  • Manage the Division risk by ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Review and modify policies and practices regularly
  • Participate in the Division safety program. Help enforce safety policies and practices
  • Support the training, development, and performance of HR Managers and other HR Professionals in the Division
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changes to seek opportunities for process improvement and enhancement of practices, as appropriate
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field
  • At least 7 years of previous experience in senior management or an executive level HR role for a company of similar or larger size
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience with primary responsibilities in budget and expense management, strategic road mapping, and goal setting
  • Must have a Professional HR Certification, such SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Strong understanding of common HR practices and procedures (i.e., labor laws, talent management, HR information systems, recruiting)
  • Additional Skills :

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to generate trust and credibility while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficient with HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
  • Physical Demands :

    The physical demands and work environment while performing job duties within this role, the employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

    Schedule :

    This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, excluding company holidays, with working hours that may vary based on departmental needs.

    Travel :

    This position may require travel to other Woodgrain locations, estimated travel time is up to 15%.
