Job Summary :
The IT Business Intelligence Product Owner is responsible for defining the product vision and helping with the planning and managing of the BI teamwork and projects. This position will support the team, manage backlog items, and help to optimize the value of the product(s). A primary responsibility of this position is to plan and manage the development of requirements and associate work items from initiation to post-completion. The BI Product Owner will work closely with the business at all levels and divisions to deliver secure and accurate reporting solutions and insights that meet company goals.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Review business requests for information / reports and determine the best and most efficient business intelligence reporting solutions for delivering required information.Strategize and present ideas to stakeholders.Perform analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of SAP Business Objects solutions and other enterprise intelligence solutions (SharePoint) to support business reporting needs, including queries, reports, dashboards, and other BI outputs.Configure and develop in the SAP Business Objects environment, to include testing, implementation, problem-solving, debugging, and data validation.Collaborate with SAP Analysts and Developers on SAP BW, SAP BPO, and other SAP modules to turn business reporting requirements into technical requirements to support sustainability of the BI model.Integrate reporting solutions across the entire organization and throughout all business applications, systems, and platforms in the computing environment.Lead business intelligence support for projects both during go-live and post go-live.Develop and provide training for the system users of Business Objects and other BI enterprise tools.Provide assessments, information, and reports of product status, health, and overall use / risk for existing reporting structures in place.Ensure Woodgrain remains current on data reporting technology and practices through research and industry trends.Maintain standard operating processes (SOPs) for BI data monitoring, accuracy, and overall.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in a technical areas such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.At least 3 years of experience in SAP with exposure to the reporting environment and delivery methods.Previous experience with SAP ECC and / or S / 4 HANA preferred.Detailed understanding of reporting technology and delivery methods to include Cloud and SaaS solutions.Strong understanding of and experience with data reporting in a manufacturing environment, to include processes and terminology understanding.Ability to drive change management initiatives and bring buy-in support for IT and business partnership initiatives.Additional Skills :
Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills to be leveraged across virtual platforms and in-person.Strong customer service abilities and abilities to interact with professionalism, composure, and empathy.Ability to review projects, problems, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.Broad understanding of various business functional areas and how their work interacts with the SAP modules as well as the impact on the system data.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.Commitment to quality and achieving results that are oriented to detail and task completion.Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.Physical Demands :

Travel : This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
