Job Summary:
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for assisting with master data conversion from Woodgrain's legacy systems to organization's existing ERP. This position also assists with on-going maintenance of Woodgrain's master data in the ERP system of record. The MD Analyst will be part of the Corporate Master Data Team that is responsible for defining, standardizing, and maintaining master data across the enterprise as well as conversion of master data from legacy systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Document processes and support mapping for the conversion of master data from legacy ERP systems
- Utilize standard data analytic practices to capture, analyze, and improve processes that mitigates inconsistencies or interruptions
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of data in support of continuous improvement efforts
- Perform data configuration as needed in support of department projects
- Conduct data extraction from files, databases, and other collection methods accurately and efficiently
- Prepare reports, visuals, data loads, and other data information as needed for internal and external use
- Provide first level support for all incidents within Solar Winds, to include break/fix enhancement assessments, data loads for locations, and monitoring tickets for escalation.
- Gather requirements and submit enhancement requests for review and resourcing within department's capabilities
- Collaborate with business users to create materials and resources to understand the operations of the master data department
- Conduct unit and integration testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of previous experience working in business process analysis and/or ERP master data maintenance. Preference will be given to SAP ECC 6.0 experience.
- Must possess a strong understanding and knowledge of master data processes and terminology in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge working with Winshuttle or other mass load tools/technologies is highly desired.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects at one time.

The physical demands and work environment for this role align with those of a standard office setting. While performing job duties, the employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as talk and hear. This role may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
Travel:
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
