Starting Salary : $27.48 / hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary :
Under direct supervision of the Production Manager the Project Coordinator will be working to meet the needs of the department with data entry, production scheduling, inspecting paperwork accuracy, record keeping, and inventory analysis. This position works closely with the operations team, production scheduler, external suppliers, and global sourcing.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assist Department Managers with SQDCI objectives and requirements.
- Conduct entry and maintain environmental audit files.
- Perform data entry and analysis for run parameters for all machine centers.
- Keep operational target specifications and ranges up to date for every machine center.
- Review DF Lab test data (weight, caliper, and gravity) and communicate data analysis to Line Leader.
- Perform daily die arrangements in press based on production planning schedules.
- Arrange and post daily cutting schedules based on press configuration.
- Check for accuracy of daily production numbers / data entry.
- Perform data entry and data (Pareto) analysis for downtime in the utilization file.
- Track run times.
- Assist in monitoring raw material usage rate and communicate variances to standards.
- Act as liaison between Line 1 / Die Form Departments and Accounting on production data and reporting.
- Serve as the department’s intranet data owner.
- Assist in updating SQCDI boards and die change board.
- Communication point for down days, updating hour by hour boards.
- Provide resources and support to Team Leaders.
- Any other duties assigned by your manager.

The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderate to high depending on the area of the mill. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Travel :
This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations.
