Job Summary

Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of vinyl and wood windows and patio doors, has an immediate opening for a Stain Line Painter at the West Des Moines, Iowa location within the production. Windsor is looking for a candidate to work within the new PFI line for the West Des Moines location that can work a high-volume automated paint and stain system.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Tint Specialist
• Manually mix and match stains to customer specifications
• Ensure quality control over all outgoing product
• Maintain in-depth detailed records of colors developed
• Maintain all equipment and develop 5S process for the area
• Has experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures
• Paint and stain experience from sanding process through finished paint or stain process.
• Experience preferred in application of solvent and water-born finishes
• Ability to comprehend and produce from a high-volume production schedule.
• Familiarity with window and door piece parts is a plus
• Experience with painting inside a manual paint booth
