Job Description
Make, repair, or replace upholstery for the exclusive Woodhaven line. The candidate is required to work in a fast paced work environment with team members to assemble to furniture that meets the needs of specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and upholster furniture with vinyl, fabric, and leather
Inspect & verify parts meet specs of work order
Use of all hand tools such as: staple gun, pinner, screwdriver, hammer, mallet, fabric puller, etc.
Able to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects at times weighing 50-75 lbs.

Must be reliable
Ability to multi-task and be flexible to be cross-trained in multiple departments
Must be a self-starter and motivator
Work in a fast-paced team environment
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Flexible to work on weekends, when needed
Able to read and understand measuring tape and or measuring rulers.
Education and Experience
Highschool or equivalent (Preferred)
Upholstery: 1 year (Preferred)
Manufacturing: 2 year (preferred)
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee may be driving cars, trucks, forklifts, or other equipment. This position will be exposed to warehouse and outdoor weather conditions. The employee may need to walk on uneven ground, work near equipment or machinery, work in a dusty environment, and may be exposed to vibration or constant movement. The noise level that is typical of this work environment can be loud.
Physical requirements
Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day; free use of hands and free range of arm movement; ability to bend repeatedly at the waist for 8-10 hours per day; ability to safely walk to and in the plant; ability to properly wear personal protective equipment, sanitary equipment, and any other requirements necessary for certain departments; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
