Job Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Director to oversee all clinical operations at Woodhaven. This leadership role is responsible for managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving program effectiveness. The Clinical Director will develop policies, implement treatment strategies, and foster collaboration across departments to enhance client care and support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs to improve client care and treatment outcomes.
Staff Supervision: Lead and manage clinical teams, including Clinical Supervisors, Counselors, and Case Managers.
Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (Medicaid, OHMHAS, CARF, ASAM, and DSM-5) and organizational policies.
Quality Assurance: Monitor clinical performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Outreach: Serve as a liaison between clinical, medical, and administrative teams, as well as external partners.
Budget & Resource Management: Work with Finance and Operations to align clinical services with organizational budgets.
Training & Development: Oversee staff development programs to maintain high professional standards in clinical care.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in a health or human services-related field required.
Experience:
Minimum of 4–10 years of clinical and supervisory experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health.
Licensure/Certification:
Required: CPR certification, LPCC, LICDC, LISW or equivalent
Preferred: Additional leadership or specialized treatment certifications.
Skills:
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in clinical documentation and compliance reporting.
Experience with clinical and healthcare-related software preferred.
