- Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our Support Services team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining the facility’s operations by performing general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. Your expertise in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general facility upkeep will directly contribute to creating a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for staff and clients.
- Key Responsibilities:
Perform basic plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, such as outlets, switches, and wiring.
Conduct routine HVAC maintenance, including filter replacement and system diagnostics.
Carry out carpentry tasks, such as installing shelving, assembling furniture, and repairing minor structural damages.
Handle painting and drywall repairs to maintain facility aesthetics.
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, and facility systems.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Utilize maintenance tools and systems, including email and work order software, to track and report tasks.
Assist with office relocations, including moving equipment and furniture.
Monitor and restock facility supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, or general facility maintenance.
- Skills:
Proficient with maintenance tools and equipment.
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
Basic familiarity with email and work order systems.
Licenses: Valid driver’s license (fewer than two points preferred).
Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification (Company Sponsored).
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with facility management or maintenance in a healthcare or residential setting.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
