About Woodhaven:
Woodhaven Residential Treatment Facility is a leading provider of substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health treatment, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee and support our Admissions Department, ensuring safe and effective nursing care for clients entering treatment.
Job Overview:
As the RN Supervisor, you will lead and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in the Admissions Department while also assisting in nursing supervision across the facility. You will play a key role in client assessments, withdrawal monitoring, medication administration, and crisis intervention, ensuring the highest quality of care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and evaluate LPNs within the Admissions Department.
Conduct medical assessments for new admissions, monitoring withdrawal symptoms and medication responses.
Ensure proper documentation of all client interactions, medication administration, and nursing interventions.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for each client.
Lead shift reports to ensure smooth transitions and communication among nursing staff.
Respond to crisis situations, providing rapid assessment and intervention when necessary.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OHMHAS, and other regulatory guidelines.
Promote a patient-centered approach, advocating for client needs and ensuring the highest quality of care.
Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (required).
CPR certification (required before start date, company-sponsored).
Preferred: At least One (1) year of experience in psychiatric, detox, or substance use disorder treatment.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Ability to assess withdrawal symptoms and respond to medical and behavioral crisis.
Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
