Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Part-Time HR Administrator to assist with a large-scale HR file digitization and compliance project. In this role, you will ensure that employee records are accurately scanned, organized, and maintained in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for HR professionals, administrative professionals, or students looking to gain hands-on experience in HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR File Management: Scan, digitize, and organize HR files, including active and terminated employee records, I-9 forms, and compliance documents.
Data Retrieval & Entry: Retrieve and download employee records from Paychex (HR/payroll system) and ensure accurate file updates.
Compliance Audits: Conduct HR file audits (pre-hire & post-hire) to ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
I-9 Compliance: Organize and maintain I-9 records, ensuring timely and accurate retention and verification.
Process Tracking: Utilize Microsoft Excel to track project progress and manage data efficiently.
Administrative Support: Assist with HR process planning, document organization, and general administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
HR, Business Administration, or related field students/interns encouraged to apply.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in HR administration, records management, or administrative support preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, and tracking).
Familiarity with HR/payroll systems such as Paychex preferred.
Understanding of HR document retention policies and I-9 compliance (preferred).
