What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Veterinary Technician position at Woodhaven Veterinary Clinic?
Woodhaven Veterinary Clinic in beautiful Edmonds, WA is looking for you! A talented, experienced licensed technician who is ready to work for a private general practice that balances client needs and staff needs. We are open to part time or full time.
Why are we different? We know that is hard to see from a job posting, but we really do believe that how we function as a clinic is what has created an environment that is filled with many long term employees of 10-20 years. We believe that your time is valuable. We believe that your skills are valuable and should be used. We believe clients who can't treat you with respect, cannot be our clients. We have a fantastic single owner who is supportive and caring.
Why are we looking for an LVT right now? We are thrilled to have a talented group of LVTs and assistants here, but we know that one more would be very helpful in our scheduling. If you are a technician who loves client education and bonding with clients in exam rooms, some time in anesthetic procedures/dentals, then this could be your dream position. We want your knowledge and care for the clients to shine. Woodhaven has THE BEST clients; we rarely have any issues or complaints. This is in part to how hard we strive to provide them with a positive experience, but also due to us not being afraid to end a relationship with a client who isn't treating us with respect.
Beginning January 2025, we will be closing on Saturdays and focusing our time Monday through Friday, creating a better balance for our team! Until that time, we will rotate. LVTs typically work 1 Saturday a month right now.
We look forward to receiving your application and talking with you about our practice and your needs!
