Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwork Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the Millwork and custom assembly departments. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of skilled workers, ensuring quality production, and maintaining safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork, CNC milling, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to efficiency and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of millworkers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure the quality of work produced meets company standards and client specifications.
• Ensure all machinery and tools are properly maintained and used safely by team members.
• Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives for continuous improvement within the department.
• Collaborate with other departments, including production, design, and procurement, to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
• Supervise and manage daily operations within the Millwork, CNC and Custom woodworking department to ensure production and quality targets are met.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in millwork or woodworking, with at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of millwork production processes, tools, and materials.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.
