Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of millworkers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure the quality of work produced meets company standards and client specifications.
- Ensure all machinery and tools are properly maintained and used safely by team members.
- Identify areas for process improvements and lead initiatives for continuous improvement within the department.
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, design, and procurement, to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
- Supervise and manage daily operations within the Millwork, CNC and Custom woodworking department to ensure production and quality targets are met.
- Proven experience in millwork or woodworking, with at least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of millwork production processes, tools, and materials.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.
