Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with 10-15 years of industry expertise to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach to leadership, ensuring high-quality production while maintaining a focus on efficiency, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. The right candidate must have prior experience overseeing EdgeBanders, CNC Routers, Biesse Machinery, Panel Saws and other wood working equipment and is familiar with brands like Biesse and Homag. He / she will have a strong background in CNC programming and operations, as well as experience with EdgeBanding machines and maintaining a structured maintenance schedule for tooling and equipment. Responsibilities
- Strong background in CNC programming and operations
- Utilize ERPs and Cabinet Vision to enhance production planning and execution.
- Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency, using incentives to motivate the team and enhance overall performance.
- Implement strategies to optimize shop schedules, ensuring specialty and custom orders meet exact specifications.
- Manage CNC, Panel Saw and Edgebanding workflow and proactively scheduling production to maximize efficiency.
- Lead QA / QC processes, oversee purchasing, budgeting, and production scheduling, and drive new product development initiatives.
- Implement and oversee 5S systems and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement and streamline production processes.
