Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour, depending on verifiable, quality experience and education in ECE

Full-Time and Part-Time Preschool Teacher positions available.
As a teacher at Woodland Academy, you will...
- Supervise and insure safety of children at all times
- Teach the tenants of the Christian faith daily
- Plan and implement an enriching, Reggio inspired curriculum that inspires and helps children develop and grow as individuals
- Maintain an engaging, curated environment for children to explore and learn
- Plan and implement FUN activities and projects that support children's learning in the areas of many different cultures, holidays and values.
- Work with teaching team to set-up and maintain classroom.
- Work with your mentor teacher and PD coaches to continually improve quality standards
- Attend all staff meetings, professional development training, set up/clean up days and team planning meetings.
- Have fun and MORE!
Qualifications and competencies: - CDA or ECE degree preferred
- Completed mandated background checks
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to:
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- Physical ability to sit on the floor or low chair and to squat down to be at eye level with children for up to 15 minutes at a time
- Ability to stand and walk for up to one hour at a time
- Level of physical fitness that allows for keeping pace with the activity level of young children.
