Mobile Crisis Response - Community Outreach Facilitator

As a Community Outreach Facilitator you will develop and cultivate relationships with community partners to promote Mobile Crisis Response services. The position works closely with the Mobile Response team and crisis phone line and implements strategies to connect community members and partners to crisis mental health services. The position also provides education on suicide prevention and crisis interventions.
Monday - Friday, daytime hours
Job Duties:
- Create and implement a community engagement plan.
- Schedule and maintain a calendar of outreach contacts and activities.
- Educate community in mental health crisis interventions.
- Schedule and lead trainings and community presentations.
- Raise awareness for crisis response services.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Human Services, Community Health or Allied Field OR a minimum of two years of experience working and collaborating within the health and human services domain.
- Knowledge of mental health treatment and service delivery preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a DHS background study.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and community driven.
