Positions:Elementary Teacher – Grade 4
Location:Woodland Elementary School
Schedule:2025 – 2026 School Year
Salary: Per Teachers Contract
To Start: August 25, 2025 (plus two mentoring days prior to start date, TBD)
Qualifications:
●MA DESE Teacher Licensure - Elementary 1-6; required
●MA DESE Teacher Licensure - ESL PreK-6; preferred
●Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese; preferred
●Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement; required
●Excellent organizational and communication skills
●Working knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
●Excellent classroom management skills
●Ability to differentiate instruction across all curriculum areas for all learners
●Ability to create innovative lessons using interactive technology
●Ability to utilize various computer software programs - student database (Aspen), Google Workplace, etc.
●Ability to collaborate with colleagues and ability to function as part of a team.
●Experience with Illustrative Mathematics or Standards-Based Math Program; preferred
●Experience with Expeditionary Learning Literature or a Standards-Based Literacy Program; preferred
●Ability to use assessments to inform instruction
●Working knowledge of MTSS and how to develop classroom interventions
Responsibilities:
●Preparation, presentation and evaluation of lessons;
●Management of classroom and the care of equipment and material contained therein;
●Supervision of students placed in their charge;
●Maintenance of records directly related to classroom instruction;
●Counseling and guidance of students, especially those within their classroom;
●Administer/interpret variety of diagnostic instruments;
●Communicate regularly with parents/guardians/community agencies and peers to ensure student success;
●Collaborating with other staff members daily;
●Management and supervision of teaching/behavioral assistants within the classroom; and
●Other duties as assigned by Building and District Administration.
