Qualifications
The Assistant Director of Nursing reports directly to the Executive Director. Typically, the Assistant Director of Nursing is on-site for 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday. It is expected that the Assistant Director of Nursing will be added to the rotating Manager on Duty schedule and will be available to work weekends in accordance with that schedule. The Assistant Director of Nursing is expected to be available as the community needs.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid LPN or RN registration.
- 2 to 5 years nursing supervisory experience.
- Understanding of local, state, and national laws and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
- Oversee care of residents in community.
- Lead nurses and caregivers in delivering excellent care and offer quality support.
- Work with HR to hire and develop nursing and care staff.
- Assist in the disciplinary action of staff as needed.
- Manage nursing and caregiving schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage for resident care.
- Ensure all nurses and caregivers are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain current task list for caregivers and update ADL changes as they occur.
- Provide assessments for potential residents.
- Order and maintain nursing supplies.
- Track and record incident reports and assure incident investigations are completed.
- General record keeping and filing.
- Provide direct care and administer medication as needed.
- Maintain monthly budget.
- Be available to the community as needed.
