Extruder Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating extrusion machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assemble and fabricate components as needed, utilizing hand tools and machinery effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify product dimensions.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve overall workflow.

Experience
- Previous experience as an Extrusion Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred but not needed we will train.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, and calipers for precise measurements.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
