WOODLAND POND CONFORMANCE STATEMENT
In the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities all employees are expected to conform to the following:

Position Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and improving gardens and landscapes, including tasks like planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and pest control, ensuring healthy and aesthetically pleasing green spaces
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*CF indicates Critical Function)
- Completes assigned work orders for grounds keeping type work via Worxhub software (*CF)
- Plants, nurtures, and fertilizes trees, flowers, and other plants (*CF)
- Prunes and trims trees and bushes
- Monitors plant health, including identifying and addressing diseases and pests
- Waters and feeds plants and whenever necessary, weeds and removes debris from garden areas (*CF)
- Operates and maintains gardening equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Demonstrates working knowledge of different plant species and their needs and understands gardening techniques and best practices (*CF)
- Works independently and as part of a team
- Possesses the physical stamina necessary to perform outdoor work
- Completes all required training and in-services
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma, or HSE
- Minimum of five years related experience or graduate of technical school with at least three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instruction manuals
- Demonstrated ability to operate a computer and function with work order software
- Ability to multitask
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population
Salary : $22 - $24
