Job Opportunity : Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist Consultant

Are you passionate about improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities? Join our dedicated team at our Intermediate Care Facilities for Developmentally Disabled (ICF / DD) as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) Consultant !

Position Details :

Role : Consultant
Commitment : Approximately 14 hours per month
Location : ICF / DD facilities

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough assessments of client needs.

Develop and oversee programs such as :

Wheelchair recommendations and modifications.

Standing programs to promote mobility and health.

Ambulation programs tailored to client abilities.

Collaborate with caregivers and staff to implement therapeutic programs effectively.

Provide guidance on equipment and assistive devices to enhance client independence and comfort.

Qualifications :

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) in California.

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Commitment to providing compassionate and client-centered care.
