Shifts:
- Full-Time, Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the nursing staff in assigned units to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Serve as a mentor and leader to nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care, addressing any concerns or changes in condition.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of patient progress.
- Participate in staff training, education, and performance evaluations.
- Address and resolve any patient or family concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama or compact license.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to care.
