The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will assist the Director of Plant Services in overseeing engineering, custodial, and minor maintenance operations at various facilities. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and performing routine preventive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Plant Services in developing and implementing maintenance plans for JPPSS facilities
- Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as unlocking and locking doors and checking electrical appliance use
- Perform light maintenance functions, including making minor repairs and replacing parts as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
