Window Service Technician

Your Role:
As a Window Service Technician, you’ll be the expert customers rely on to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain their windows and doors. From diagnosing issues to delivering practical solutions, your work will directly contribute to Woodland’s tradition of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues like drafts, leaks, or malfunctioning components.
• Replace or repair damaged window panes, seals, locks, and hardware.
• Ensure proper installation and operation of window and door systems.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining issues and solutions in simple terms.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, whether on-site or in the shop.
• Accurately document service requests, parts usage, and job completion details.
• Collaborate with team members to order and track necessary parts.

Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for windows, doors, and related hardware.
• A customer-first approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while efficiently managing tasks and time.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (this role involves frequent driving).
• Basic hand tools (specialized equipment provided by the company).
• Physical capability to lift to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in window and door servicing or a related trade.
• Familiarity with various window and door brands, styles, and installation techniques.
• Background in carpentry or mechanical work.
• Relevant certifications or specialized training are a plus.
