MA/LPN Phone Nurse - Urology
Woodlands is seeking an experienced triage MA or LPN phone nurse to fill a full-time position in our robust urology division at our Davis Highway location.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, reliable and will be able to stay collected during high-volume practice hours.
Phone Nurse Duties:
- Phone assessments for patients
- Prescription Refills
- Appointment Scheduling
- Collaboration with physicians regarding patients plan of care
- Proficient with EMR
- Detailed and precise documentation
- Communication with physicians and staff for best plan of care
Phone Nurse Requirements:
- LPN or Medical Assistant license preferred
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detailed oriented
- Excellent organizational and people skills
- Excellent phone communication
- Ability to work independently
- Surgery scheduling preferred
- Prior urology experience a plus
