Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Daily Living Assistance: assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and ensuring accountability for all care services provided.
- Meal Preparation and Service: assisting with meal preparation and serving meals, snacks, and beverages as required.
- Safety and Security: maintaining the physical and emotional safety and security of residents.
- Independence Promotion: promoting resident independence by providing quality care in accordance with current standards and regulations.
- Reporting Changes: reporting any changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience or training in a related field is preferred.
- A proven ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver compassionate and high-quality care.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and decisions in line with good clinical practice.
