You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing our computer systems to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
• Technical Support: Provide timely and effective support for PC hardware and software issues encountered by hotel staff.• System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripheral devices, and related IT equipment.• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational efficiency.• Network Assistance: Support the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure within the hotel.• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT issues, solutions, and system configurations.• Staff Training: Educate team members on best practices for utilizing technology and troubleshooting minor issues.• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades, security patches, and new technologies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in PC support, IT troubleshooting, or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of PC hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows), and common business applications.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus but not required.
