Overview

- Confidently speak over a microphone, ensuring clarity and projectability of your voice to reach large audiences. Communicate event instructions, safety guidelines, and updates in a clear, concise, and entertaining manner.
- Host and assist execution of daily craft offerings, events, etc.
- Be an ambassador for all recreation programming.
- Must assist with the set up and breakdown of recreational equipment areas
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Lead and facilitate events, announcements, and recreational activities, using a microphone to communicate with large groups. Serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related
Responsibilities
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Prioritize, organize, and exercise problem-solving skills.
- Understand guest’s service needs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language
- Must be able to withstand exterior exposure to various weather conditions such as extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, sun and darkness with limited lighting
- Assist Recreation Leader, Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Manager
- Demonstrate creativity, crowd management, and Tanner enthusiasm
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma/GED.
- Interest in recreation, hospitality or special event experience.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification preferred.
- Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish preferred.
- Able to input and access information in the property management system/computers.
- Must be 18 Years of Age or Older
