Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Visit and talk with residents to build connections and understanding
- Assist during activities such as arts & crafts and games to promote engagement and joy
- Deliver mail and write letters for residents to bring comfort and connection
- Accompany residents on outings or walks around the premises to encourage exploration and freedom
- Greet community visitors to create a welcoming atmosphere
What to Expect:
- Participate in an orientation program to understand our community and volunteer opportunities
- Attend in-service training to learn about our procedures and best practices
We are committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for both our residents and volunteers. As a result, we require volunteers to receive certain vaccinations prior to participation, including influenza, MMR, and Varicella.
