Join our passionate and energetic General and Cosmetic dental practice providing high-quality care to patients in the East metro. We are seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator to join the team.
The Front Office Coordinator manages all aspects of the patient scheduling and payment process including answering the phones, greeting patients in the office, scheduling appointments, consulting with patients on treatment options provided by clinical team, presentation of treatment plan financial cost estimates and patient follow-up. This position is also responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and benefit levels, filing insurance claims, claim follow-up and timely payment posting.
In this integral role on the team, you will:
- Provide superior patient service with compassion and care in accordance with patient needs, company policies and procedures, government regulations, and dental board standards.
- Answer telephones in a timely and pleasant manner.
- Set-up new patient visits (in accordance with office clinical schedule) and collect all patient demographic and insurance information.
- Check in patients when they arrive for their appointments and monitor clinical schedules throughout the day.
- Schedule treatment and follow-up appointments after each patient appointment.
- Enter insurance information, check eligibility and be able to answer patient questions related to insurance benefits and treatment cost.
- Submit insurance claims and prior authorizations to insurances, as well as follow-up on outstanding claims.
- Collect and post payments from insurance payers and patients on date of service or when received via mail or phone, ensuring posting accurately to each Provider.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Details:
- Pay Range $25- 35, pay will be based on experience
- Full-Time (approx. 32 – 35 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday (occasional Fridays)
