Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room

Certification Details

  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NIH Stroke Certification

Job Details

  • The nurse needs to function independently in both circulating and recovery room roles.
  • Must be able to circulate in the OR.
  • Monday – Friday position hours will be 8 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m. but may vary.
  • They will be required to be on call for call rotation. There is a 30-minute response time for call.
  • Experience with Peds OR, colon resections and robotic surgery cases.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience would be needed.

    • Job Requirements

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
  • Required for OR, ER, Med Surg. AHA Provider / Instructor / RQI is acceptable here.

    • Schedule Information

  • 6 week contract with the option to extend.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Candidate to complete prior to start.

    • Additional Details

  • Government issued photo ID required prior to start.
  • Emergency Contact Form required prior to start.
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start.
